PHOTOGRAPHIC SERVICES
Photography work is as varied and unique as those who require the services of a professional photographer. Mark is available for work ranging from advertising to editorial and many things in between. If your creative vision falls within the scope and scale of what Mark Feenstra Photography represents in its past work and potential, the first step is to contact mark at photo@markfeenstra.com for a basic quote. Please include as much detail as possible.
So, how much?
When we say that our clients are varied and unique, we also acknowledge that not everyone has the same financial means to promote their product or services. While some businesses may have a regular budget for marketing and advertising, Mark recognizes that groups like independent theatre troupes or non-profit organizations may be working under tougher constraints. If you are considering Mark for a personal or promotional photo concept, any extenuating circumstances will be taken into account when a quote is generated.
What am I paying for?
Your quote for a photography job includes more than just the few hours of photography you’ll see on the day of your shoot, as the logistics of most shoots tend to take up a larger portion of the day than the photographer is typically on location. Concepts, props, rentals, assistants, make-up artists, stylists, and any other necessary crew will need to be arranged ahead of time. Once the shoot is completed, there are files to be transferred, sorted, and edited. Your quote includes full digital post-processing with a suite of professional editing applications, and final output of files optimized for your print or online needs. A single four hour shoot may involve a team of five people and can quickly total more than thirty cumulative work hours for the team.
Rest assured that your rate will reflect your budget and will be a fair representation of all of the time and work that goes into creating a final product that you’ll be proud to use.
